Description MOTT THE HOOPLE - Brain Capers LP with MASK .. Original 1971 UK Pressing This is an original 1971 UK pressing of Mott The Hoople's LP "Brain Capers". Catalogue number ILPS-9178. The LP includes a rare issue mask that was only issued in the UK with some of the original first pressings of this album, the mask is in Excellent condition. It has the matrix numbers ILPS 9178 A-1U stamped and "Porky" etched into the run-out groove on Side 1 of the disc. And ILPS 9178 B-1U stamped and "Pecko" etched on the Side 2 run-out groove. Both sides of the vinyl have some scuffing from where the mask has been stored inside the picture inner sleeve along with the disc. (See pictures) The scuffing has very little, if any effect on the original sound quality of this album. It plays Excellent throughout. The sleeve and picture inner sleeve are also in Excellent condition.
