It began as a mail-order catalog/auction in the mid 60's; we still do an independent mail-order (& internet) auction semi-regularly, featuring 2000+ records. I began working for my father's 78 business over 2 decades ago. Since 2007, when he passed away, I've run the business alongside an old friend of his, a very experienced and knowledgable collector (whose name appears in the credits of many re-issue LP's!) We both truly love records! We grade records conservatively and package records with care, with the professionalism that can be expected from our many years dealing in rare records. SHIPPING: We are a very small operation (currently one person does all the eBaying and physical labor, the other is 'retired') -- please note our 3 days average processing time. We truly appreciate your patience! We pack our records using heavy grade cardboard boxes; the records are sandwiched between several layers of cardboard, and the record 'bundle' is given plenty of padding within the box. We proudly use USPS for all shipments (excepting special cases). We gladly offer combined shipping if you win more than one item -- charges will be automatically combined by eBay on your invoice if you win multiple items, but for the lowest possible rate please wait ~24 hours for us to send you a custom invoice. Package tracking is provided for all shipments, and insurance upon special request. Note that international insurance necessitates more accuracy on customs forms... RETURNS/PROLEMS: If you are unsatisfied with your item for any reason you may return it for a full refund -- no questions asked! 78 record grading can be somewhat subjective (to say the least), and though we consider ourselves one of the more consistent and knowledgable sellers on eBay, we do make an occasional mistake. We list 150-200 records per week on average, so an error is inevitable! We don't make you argue about the grade and understand your disappontment -- we offer full refunds for any errors! In some cases we may have a replacement copy available as well! If you've won a 'bottom dollar' record you'd like to return, in some cases we will refund your payment without requiring you to even return the item. Please note: refunds for 'mis-bids', or damage caused by the fault of USPS and not our own, will have shipping charges withheld. We do expect you to have a reasonable understanding of grading and playing 78's if you are bidding, but we welcome new collectors and all questions! We also expect a certain basic level of civility from bidders and potential bidders. eBay can be a very hostile environment, where people assume the worst of each other: many people hurl insults before asking any questions! Please be friendly & respectful, we want nothing but to be friendly & helpful in return! We truly appreciate the nice folks out there, especially our 'regulars'! OUR FEEDBACK RATING: Until very recently was 100% after 13+ years selling on eBay. We invite you to browse our feedback for the negatives and judge them for yourself. A 'bottom dollar' record marginally mis-graded which the bidder never contacted us about. A lost record to Russia. A very bad tempered guy.We truly do our best to make everyone happy when given the chance! Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
