I did all the tests to ensure this is not a counterfeit and they all checked out, Audio Matrix stamp in dead wax, Harrison's shadow, Beatles and album title both above the spindle, McCartney's hand on knee and visibly, DG, nice clear glossy graphics and label, etc. Includes original song pressing with Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You. Cover - Spine wear on all 3 sides. Some corner crunching. Small inch size beginning of seam split lower right. Some general rub wear that doesn't detract from image. Its more visible on rear than front cover. The letter B is written in red pen on front cover near Vee-Jay logo on front. Label - Small sticker on Side 1, see picture. Otherwise bright and shiny. LP - Sleeve scuffs and some stray marks. No feelable marks or scratches. Has some shine but needs a good cleaning, more that my with my solution. Play grade - Played through twice. No skips. Other than first song on side 1, and in some between song separation tracks, plays very loud and clear. So some audible noise during ISHST, but after a minute or two at most, clear as day. Also noticed the spindle is a tad rounded, but it did not affect play. I don't like to assign grades as it is very subjective, however I would say the LP looks VG/VG+ but plays VG++, but that's my opinion. I'd say the cover is VG+. In both cover and record, I think they are in very solid shape and would arbitrarily say and be happy with vg+/vg+, with a play grade of vg++, but remember this is my opinion. I encourage you to view the pictures and ask as many questions as you feel are necessary to determine your value of this extremely rare piece of Beatles history.
