Here is an original 1986 7" U.K. import single pressing on the Vertigo label (HEAR 1, 884 004-7) from Hear 'n Aid titled "Stars" b/w "The 4 1/2 Minute News". This comes with the original color picture sleeve. On May 20 and 21, 1985, 40 artists from the heavy metal and hard rock music communities gathered at A&M Records Studios to participate in the making of a record called "Stars" as part of a very special project known as Hear'N Aid. The "Stars" single, coupled with the album, a video documentary on the making of the record, and other ancillary products will raise money for famine relief efforts in Africa and around the world. 40 artists and hundreds of volunteers donated their time and talent over four months to make Hear'N Aid a reality. "Stars" is a plea for unity in the fight against world hunger. Recorded at: A&M Records Studios, Rumbo Recorders, Sound City. Edited and mixed at: Rumbo Recorders. Mastering: Artisan Sound. Interviews recorded live at A&M, May 20 1985. Edited and mixed at KLOS Sound City. Special Thanks to Tim Kelly. The original picture sleeve is in EXC condition. It has typical wear, but I graded it EXC because it has all solid seams. I combine shipping for multiple items won. I charge by weight (roughly 13 oz. per LP, and 2 oz. per 7" single), and not by item, which makes it much more fair for the buyer. I DO NOT SHIP TO BRAZIL! Please note - I no longer ship to Brazil. You can thank the Brazilian postal service for that - they are quite corrupt and they have "lost" too many of my packages. Please note: I've had several reports of some international packages taking several months to arrive, and two packages never arrived at all. If you want your package insured you must pay for Priority International shipping. First Class International shipping can not be insured (that's the post office's rule, not mine). I know the cost of Priority International shipping is outrageous, but that's the only way I can insure an international package. Please contact me within three days after receiving your invoice, or your items will be relisted or offered to the next highest bidder. I have had too many delinquent bidders that have kept me hanging wondering if they plan on honoring their bids. If you bid on an item and you will not be around to contact me when the auction ends, please send me a message before the auction ends to let me know. I would very much appreciate the courtesy. Thank you. If you require special packaging, inform me before you pay. I'm tired of people paying me, and then telling me they practically want the item shipped in a stainless steel case. Special packaging requires more material, which means it will weigh more, which means it will cost more. If you have already paid, you will get MY packaging regardless of what you specify afterward. You can see from my feedback that most items arrive safely and packaged well. The post office is sometimes irresponsible with their handling, but if an item is damaged it's not because of the packaging, it's because the post office treated it very badly.
