This example showcases a gorgeous peel with a first state look. Gorgeous and vibrant colors. This presents right up there with any jacket we have offered in the past with just a few minor condition issues but still easily rates in the top 5% regarding quality of any peeled Butcher Covers offered for sale . Capitol factory pasteover glue lines are very light on this. Top seam is solid and complete. Bottom seam is also complete with a small wear spot at the very end of the seam near the mouth opening. Spine is mostly complete and the title of the album and artist is present and legible with some cracking and missing chips of paper at the very top and bottom of the spine which has the catalog number missing. Back of the jacket is clean with light to average wear with some tanning/light stains but nothing too terrible.Again, these are very common condition issues on these jackets. Other than these very minute issues, this is a really nice top example. See last close up photo for gorgeous detail of the peel. Comes with an original goldenrod 1966 inner sleeve w/small corner hole punch and original Scranton mono record in nice VG ++/NM- condition with only a few light scuffs but nothing too deep. This record has not been played a lot. NM labels. This is a visual grade not a play grade and this should play through without skips but no guarantees on that.. The trunk slick is included is the exact slick that was peeled from this jacket. Trunk slick presented is in one solid piece and is a great candidate for framing,but does has some wear and tear/repair. Trunk slicks in one solid piece are not all that common in the peeling field. These elements generally involve mild glue lines that were made at the pressing plant when the trunk cover was pasted over but also include some minor issues from the removal process.
