isnw_ecp BAD COMPANY - BAD COMPANY IN MAGNIFICENT ONE PLAY MINT!!! CONDITION OUTSTANDING MINT!!!! SLEEVE TIME TRAVEL CONDITION CATALOGUE:ISLAND ILPS 9279 MATRIX: ILPS 9729 A-2U / B-2U MOTHERS / STAMPERS:2 MP / 3 GML RECENTLY I SOLD A BATCH OF 80'S ROCK LP'S THAT WERE IN THE MOST OUTSTANDING CONDITION. I BELIEVE I HAVE BETTERED THAT NOW WITH A COLLECTION OF 70'S ROCK ALBUMS THAT ARE IN A CONDITION THAT DEFIES BELIEF. THEY BELONGED TO A COLLECTOR WHO WAS ABSOLUTELY METICULOUS WITH THEM. MOST ARE PLAYED JUST ONCE OR SOME NOT AT ALL, WITH A FEW HAVING 2-4 PLAYS AT MOST. THE VINYLS ARE JUST PERFECT AS YOU WILL HEAR WHEN YOU PLAY THE SOUNDBITES. BACK IN THE 70'S RECORD SHOPS LIKE W.H SMITHS SOLD NUMBERING SYSTEMS SO THAT COLLECTORS COULD CATALOGUE THEIR RECORDS. IT INVOLVED A SHEET OF GUMMY NUMBERS IN SMALL SQUARES, WHICH WERE PLACED ON THE ALBUM SLEEVE. THE CORRESPONDING NUMBER WAS ALSO ON A RECORD CARD WHICH THE OWNER FILLED IN WITH THE ALBUM DETAILS. WHILST THIS DOES CAUSE A SMALL RESIDUAL MARK ON THE SLEEVE, ANYONE WHO COLLECTED RECORDS IN THIS WAY USUALLY CARED FOR THEM AND PROTECTED THEM LIKE THEY WERE THE MOST PRECIOUS THING IN THEIR LIVES. THIS COLLECTION IS NO DIFFERENT. THE LP'S WERE ALL HOUSED INSIDE STRONG RECORD CASES, MEANING THAT THEY WERE PROTECTED FROM THE LIGHT, SO THERE HAS BEEN NO FADING OF THE COLOURS, AND BECAUSE THERE WERE ONLY 20 IN EACH CASE, THERE HAS BEEN NO RUBBING OR SHELF WEAR, AND IN MOST CASES THE SLEEVES ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. YES IT MAY NOT BE EVERY COLLECTORS DESIRE TO HAVE THE SMALL NUMBER SQUARE ON THE SLEEVE, AND I COULD REMOVE THEM WITHOUT DAMAGING THE SLEEVE, BUT I AM GOING TO LEAVE THE DECISION TO THE NEW OWNER WHETHER TO REMOVE OR NOT. ALSO WORTH A MENTION IS THE FACT THAT THE INNER SLEEVES ON MOST OF THE LP'S ARE ABSOLUTELY FLAT AND UNWRINKLED. JUST NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE SLEEVES!!!! LET ME JUST SAY THAT IN MY OPINION YOU WILL NEVER EVER GET A BETTER CHANCE TO GET A ONCE PLAYED, UNPLAYED OR BARELY PLAYED 70'S CLASSIC ROCK ALBUM!!! THE RECORDS THE LABELS THE RED AND SILVER LABELS ARE IN PRISTINE CONDITION. THERE ARE NO MARKS OR STAINS AND THE RED BASE COLOUR FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE SILVER TYPEFACE AND LOGOS ARE UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THERE IS JUST ONE MICROSCOPIC SPIDER LINE NEAR THE SPINDLE HOLE THE VINYL ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE DISC.NOT A FINGERMARK ANYWHERE, AND IN DAYLIGHT IT IS TOTALLY FLAWLESS, AND EVEN UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE ARE JUST A FEW WISPY HAIRLINES WHICH SEEM TO BE RESTRICTED TO THE RUN OFF GROOVE ON SIDE TWO. PLAYING THE RECORD I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTIBLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. I HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT. I HAVE RECORDED THE ENTIRE LP FROM START TO FINISH AS I DO WITH ALL MY LISTINGS, BECAUSE I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT BIDDERS WOULD LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE RECORD BEFORE LAYING A BID. THIS IS A SERVICE I AM DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY CUSTOMERS ISLAND VINYL IS NOTORIOUS FOR 'VINYL NOISE' WITH MOST PRESSINGS HAVING THIS .HERE HOWEVER WE HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE NOISE FREE PRESSING THE LP PLAYS THROUGH BRILLIANTLY ON ALL SIDES, AND I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE A GOOD LISTEN TO THE SOUNDBITES WHICH DEMONSTRATE JUST HOW FANTASTIC THIS LP SOUNDS. THE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS PERFECT WITH EVERY NOTE BEING HEARD CLEARLY AND CLEANLY AS WAS ORIGINALLY INTENDED NOT ONE JOT OF DISTORTION AT ANY POINT AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE EITHER, NOR ANY LOUD CLICKS THE ODD SEMI SECOND OF BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC IN A FEW OF THE LINKING GROOVES, AND THE RUN OUT GROOVE TO SIDE TWO I DIDN'T HEAR ANY DUST POPS THROUGH THE ENTIRE PLAYTHROUGH I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GRADE THIS PLAYTHROUGH MINT!!! IT IS THAT GOOD PLEASE TAKE A GOOD LISTEN AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF THE SLEEVE A TRULY EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THIS NON LAMINATED FRAGILE 1ST PRESS ROBOR GATEFOLD SLEEVE THE FRONT SURFACE IS TOTALLY FLAT AND CLEAN. THERE IS NO RUBBING TO THE BLACK SURFACE AND THUS NO COLOUR LOSS AT ALL. THERE ARE NO HEAVY CREASES, OR BENDS INCREDIBLY THERE IS NOT ONE LINE NEXT TO THE SPINE. NONE ALONG THE TOP EDGE, NONE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS I BELIEVE THE ORIGINAL BAD CO STICKER IS FIRMLY ADHERED IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER. THERE IS NO RING WEAR OR EVEN RECORD SHAPE. THE TOP E AND BOTTOM EDGES ARE BOTH IMMACULATE WITH ALL OF THE DELICATE BLACK SURFACE THERE AND NOT ONE JOT OF RUBBING OR SHELF WEAR AND EVEN THE TIPS ARE PRISTINE THE SPINE IS JUST AS NEW. TOTALLY FLAT AND UNSQUASHED, AND EVERY LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. ALL OF THE BLACK SURFACE IS THERE, WITH BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM TIPS UNBLEMISHED THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP AND TOTALLY AS NEW. NO THUMB NAIL NICKS ALONG EITHER EDGE THE REAR SURFACE IS ALSO IN TOP CONDITION, WITH JUST ONE TINY LINE NEAR THE SPINE. THERE IS THE BAREST TRACE OF RECORD SHAPE IF YOU ANGLE THE SLEEVE INTO THE LIGHT OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS A 100% PRISTINE PAIR OF PANELS THE ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE IS INCLUDED AND IS IN UNSPLIT CONDITION . PURE WHITE AND MINT!!! HAPPY TO GRADE THE SLEEVE MINT!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT GARRY Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
